Public Participation Meeting for LEA use of Part B Funds

An LEA must use Part B funds only for the excess costs of providing special education and related services to children with disabilities except where IDEA specifically provides otherwise.  These funds are to be used for the purpose of providing for the education and services of students with a disability, to strengthen education, drive reforms and improve results for students' ages 3 through 21.


This meeting will allow the district to share how they intend to spend their Part B allocations for the 2017-2018 school year. It will also allow for the opportunity for public comments and input. Meeting will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on May 1, 2017 in the district office conference room.
