THE WORD "EMERGENCY" WAS KEPT IN THE RENEWAL LANGUAGE TO AVOID PRESENTING A NEW LEVY TO THE VOTERS - SAVING THE TAXPAYERS MONEY!

If the Southwest Licking School District elected to remove the word “emergency” from the renewal levy placed on the May 5th ballot, it would have caused the District to present, in the place of the existing levy, a new operating levy to the voters. As mentioned in previous communications, any new levy placed on the ballot after November 2013 is no longer subsidized 12.5% by the State of Ohio.
