THE SOUTHWEST LICKING SCHOOL DISTRICT'S STUDENT POPULATION IS GROWING!

The Southwest Licking School's student enrollment has been increasing at an average growth of 215 students every five years since 1990. That trend would suggest a need for seven (7) additional teachers every five years (30:1 student-teacher ratio). The actual Ohio Department of Education approved October count numbers for the Southwest Licking Schools are:
1990 - 2,943 students
1995 - 3,087 students
2000 - 3,260 students
2005 - 3,615 students
2010 - 3,885 students
2014 - 4,020 students (only four years / waiting on ODE approval)
