Watkins Memorial High School’s 2011-2012 enrollment is 1,275. The school houses grades nine through twelve. The school’s academic day consists of seven periods. Courses which award one credit meet five periods each week for a year, and courses which award one-half credit meet five periods each week for one semester. Exceptions are: physical education, weight lifting & conditioning, adaptive P.E. and transition support, which meet five periods each week for one semester for one-fourth credit. Students are encouraged to take Advanced Placement courses and there are course offerings with dual credit with COTC. Junior and Senior level students have the option of attending C-TEC with a variety of career advancement opportunities.

PATASKALA -- A bittersweet theme permeated Watkins Memorial's 56th commencement ceremony Sunday.
