8th Grade Recognition Ceremony

8th grade recognition is May 31^stat 9:00 am in the middle school gym. All students who are recipients of an award for the 2011-2012 school year will receive an invitation for their parents and family on Monday. Students not receiving an award are encouraged to attend to help honor their classmates. After the awards ceremony, students are allowed to leave for the day with a pre-approved absence form and parent permission.

Football Cheer Tryouts- Clinics are scheduled for May 21 through May 23, from 2:30 to 5:30, in the MS gym. Final evaluations and team selections will be Thursday, May 24, beginning at 2:45until we are finished. All paperwork required for trying out will be available in the office by May 14^th.  A parent MUST execute the necessary paperwork or the athlete can not try out. All paperwork must be turned in to the cheer coach by Monday, May 21st. A current physical must be on file with the office. This try-out is for FOOTBALL season cheerleading ONLY . ALL 6th grade and 7th grade students are encouraged to try out. For final evaluations, all candidates must wear a PLAIN, white t-shirt and black cheer shorts. (Turning a t-shirt "inside out" does not count as a plain, white t-shirt.) Note: All clinics and tryouts are closed sessions
