Based on recent updates from the Governor, we know that the 2020-2021 school year will look different than previous years. Like all other districts in Ohio, we will work within the guidelines from the state and local health department to begin preparing for school in August. The District is currently working on three different models for the fall.
= All students back in school following specific safety and health protocols
= Hybrid model (part online and part in-person)
= All remote learning
The District sent two surveys to families to gather feedback on the virtual learning process and for future planning. We appreciate your responses and results will be used as a tool in the planning process. Please click on the link to the right to review the survey results.
Currently district teams are meeting weekly to work on the different scenarios. We are developing plans with the understanding that things may change and we will need to be ready to adapt given the current circumstances.
As the situation is fluid, once all current and relevant information has been considered, the District will make a final recommendation to the Board of Education. Our recommendation will be based on the safety and well-being of our staff, students, and families. Bi-weekly updates will continue to be shared through email, Facebook, and the website.
