To contact your counselor, please email them or complete the Request Form to the left to see your School Counselor.  Counselors will contact you as soon as they are able.

A. Transcript Request/Letters of Recommendations/Scholarship Applications

  • Transcript Request Forms - Current Students: complete the Transcript Request - Current Students Only available through the School Counseling website

  • Letters of Recommendations - complete the Letter of Recommendation Request Form available through the School Counseling website

B. During this time, Counselors will be performing their normal duties remotely and will be available to contact via email, phone, or Google Hangouts. Some activities counselors will be working on:

  • Social/Emotional/Academic Online Counseling Meetings

  • Counselor Recommendations to Colleges

  • Scholarship Applications

  • 2020-2021 Scheduling (counselors will email students who may have issues with next year scheduling choices)

  • Class of 2020 Graduation Verification (counselors will contact potential credit deficient Seniors and their parent/guardian based upon Quarter 3 grades.)

C.  College Credit Plus Program: 

  • Questions regarding College Credit Plus and submitting College Credit Plus forms can be directed to Mrs. Miller ([email protected]). 

  • Currently, Mrs. Miller is advising students to hold all CCP Intent Forms until we return to school. 

  • For students who need to placement test due to retesting or absent on our initial testing date, Mrs. Miller is working with Columbus State and Shawnee State to get updated information.

  • If Columbus State’s testing centers remain open, you are able to go directly to their centers (downtown or Reynoldsburg) for placement testing should you choose. Please retain a copy of your scores to bring to Mrs. Miller when school resumes in person.

As part of our continued efforts to get you every quality resource available, we’re thrilled to share that all WMHS students will have access to the Winward Academy curriculum through the end of the school year.  This free opportunity would normally cost families up to $500.  For more information, click the links below.
-School counselors may be e-mailing students regarding schedule issues for the 2020-21 school year.  Students should be watching for these emails in their SWL G-mail account.  Please respond ASAP if a message is received from the school counselor!  However, students should also not be alarmed if they do not receive a message.
 -Juniors have begun getting ACT scores back, but don't worry if a student hasn't received them yet.  It is not unusual for students to receive them over a period of several weeks even if students tested on the same day.  Students who tested with accommodations will also receive scores later than other students.  Last, use this time off to set up an ACT account which students will need to have in order to register for future ACT's and to have official score reports send to colleges/universities.  Students will need the ACT ID shown on the score report, and WMHS Counselors do NOT have access to this ID so it is important to save the score report.  Students can set up their ACT account at
