COVID-19 Health Update

Dear SWL families,

I hope you are well and “riding out the storm” together. During the recent challenges, upheaval and worrisome events, it is hard to maintain a sense of calm and healthy perspective. We will hopefully come away from this with a better ability to work cooperatively within our global and local communities as well as within our own families.

One important thing to remember is to make sure you are being informed by reliable sources. Below are links to the CDC and our state and local health departments:

In addition, here are some other resources that will be helpful:

For kids:

Please reach out if you have any questions.

Please take good care of yourself and those in your care, and hopefully we will all be back together soon!

Health Services

The role of school health services at Southwest Licking schools is to support student learning by promoting the health and safety of the individual and the school community as a whole.  School nursing is a specialty practice wherein a nurse who has gained specific knowledge of the components of school health seeks to establish and maintain a comprehensive program that serves as a resource to link the goals of education and health, providing students with a foundation for life-long success.
