Summer School

Summer School Information

WMHS will offer summer school in June 2022.   Please check with the student's counselor before enrolling a student in a summer school not listed on this page to ensure WMHS will accept the transfer credit.

A student making up an English, Math, Science, or Social Studies class for credit at WMHS MUST take the entire 1 credit class over again.  For many summer school programs, this means completing both Part A AND Part B of a course.  If you have questions regarding a class being accepted for credit at WMHS, please ask the counselor BEFORE registering for the class.  Counselors are generally in the office for one week after the student's last day, but continue to check e-mail throughout the summer.  E-mail is the best way to reach the counselors during the summer.

Online Summer School Credit Option

Students may decide to utilize an online option during the summer to make-up classes failed during the regular school year.  TRECA Digital Academy is only one option, but it is commonly used by students at WMHS.  If a student chooses another online program he/she should check with the school counselor to ensure the credit will be accepted by WMHS prior to registering.  Students should also verify courses needed before registering by speaking with their school counselor.  A student making up an English, Math, Science, or Social Studies class for 1 credit at WMHS MUST take the entire 1 credit class over again.  This may require registering for two classes (Part A and Part B, etc).  More information for Meta Solutions/TRECA online options may be found at https://treca.org/programs/summer-school
