The consistent format and features in every unit makes it easy for teachers to use and children to learn.

Program Assessments:

Each student participating in the YMCA preschool program will complete the Ages and Stages (ASQ) student questionnaire. This is an initial student/parent questionnaire to assess where a student is at developmentally and used as a guide to develop student goals. Throughout the school year, teachers will utilize the Early Learning Assessment tool to aid teachers in determining where children are in their readiness for kindergarten.
