Applications for the 2020 - 2021 school year will be available February 1, 2020. The application process is competitive. Students, in the classes of 2021 and 2022, are encouraged to apply. After reviewing the applications, select students will be invited to interview for a place in the program. Students will be notified in March if they are accepted into the program or not.
The Internship Summit will be held at the SWL District Office from 8:00 - 1:30 on May 15, 2020.
We are always looking for individuals and organizations willing to host our interns. Interns work with a mentor to gain valuable experience in a field the student is interested in pursuing. Internships are typically for a semester though some can be year long. Students typically spend approximately fifty hours at an internship placement each semester. If you are interested in serving as a mentor, please contact Paula Ball, Coordinator of Gifted Services, at [email protected] or 740-027-3941.
